I began at Toys 'R Us as a seasonal, part time cashier and was given the opportunity to advance my career through the company.
Received experience as the Human Resources Supervisor, where I was in charge of hiring 85 employees for the Christmas season and ensure they received the proper training for their respective positions..
Became a Department Supervisor, where I was in charge of merchandising and maintaining the Apparel, Action Figures, Learning Toys, Dolls and the Seasonal / Summer area.
Worked closely with team members in each department, as well as the managers to drive sales and margin while utilizing asset protection protocols to limit the amount of theft from the store.
After 8 years with Toys 'R Us, I was given the opportunity to advance my knowledge and career by being promoted to the Sales and Service Assistant Manager.
I worked closely with the two Sales Floor Department Supervisors ensuring merchandising resets were completed in a timely manner and made merchandising decisions to help drive margin and profitability.
