Joined the Float Team and provided anesthesia services to six different Moses Cone affiliated sites including a Level II Trauma center, two out patient surgery centers, a rural community hospital, and a very busy OB facility. I provide general, regional, and MAC anesthesia to many different specialty services including, but not limited to, general, orthopedics, pediatrics, dental, neuro, urology, OB, GYN, ENT, bariatrics, plastics, vascular, endoscopy, and cath lab.

• Effectively and efficiently responded to Code Stroke, Trauma, and Code Blue throughout the hospital.
• Very comfortable with my skillset in practicing under both medical direction as well as medical supervision.
• Willing to work at many different locations at a moments notice; sometimes changes get made the morning of.
• Preceptor for all SRNA students that train at any of the sites I work at.
• Very well respected by my peers, other APP's, and physicians for the level of experience and confidence I bring to the overall outcome of the patients.

Worked directly with anesthesia management and ICU nurse managers and educators to develop a standardized method that improved safety, patient and provider satisfaction, and time management in the transition of an ICU patient to and from the operating room.

• Charge CRNA with a primary focus in out of department areas such as radiology, nuclear medicine, MRI, pediatric lumbar punctures, obstetrics, and pediatric and adult endoscopy.

Assessed adult and pediatric patients' physical, mental, and emotional health before, during, and after the administration of anesthesia. Collaborates with care team to develop individualized anesthetic plan through collective interpretation of lab tests, imaging studies, previous surgical and anesthetic interactions and outcomes, and direct communication with the patient and their family members. Experience with various specialties including neurology, orthopedics, general, pediatrics, kidney transplants, liver procedures, obstetrics, and endoscopy.

Provided direct care to critically ill patients and their families in the treatment of life threatening conditions including septic shock necessitating vasoactive medications and invasive hemodynamic monitoring, respiratory failure requiring ECMO or oscillation, individuals with uncontrolled hypertension needing continuous intravenous cardiac medications, and mismanaged diabetics requiring ENDOTOOL. Responded to all of the Code Blue and Rapid Response pages throughout the hospital.

Performed nursing duties related to same day surgery patients including IV starts, accurate and complete preoperative assessments, assisting CRNA's during the induction and emergence of anesthesia, ensuring maintenance of sterile technique in the opening and counting of instruments and supplies, and utilization of both paper and computer programs for accurate and timely charting.
