- Direct oversight of daily operations for the Med Surg/Telemetry unit, Clinical Decision Unit, and Central Monitoring units.
- Administrative oversight for over 100 direct reports, including three supervisors, RNs, PCTs, SNTs, HUCs, and Telemetry Techs. Responsibilities include interviewing, coaching, providing educational seminars, mentoring, staff meetings, competency validations, payroll, relationship building through meaningful check-ins, and IDP development.
- Created two new job roles in FY 25: Discharge RN, and Mobility Tech. Discharge RN enhanced throughput concerns alleviating ER holds and reduced burden on care team. Progressive Mobility scores return to baseline JHHLM improved from % in 2023 to % in 2024. Presented to the System Wide Progressive Mobility Committee to disseminate best practices.
- HCAHPS initiatives led to an increase from FY24 75.3 to FY25 76.7. Created a DC checklist education video and disseminated it through Critical Care and Acute Care service lines.
- Chair of the Falls Committee, with a decrease in falls from FY 23 of 51 to FY 24 of 23.
- Monitor risks for HAI's: Zero Cdiff cases FY25, CLABSI free for 4 years
- Facility wide cost containment initiatives: Hill Rom Rental bed decreased from FY 24 to FY 25. Identified incorrect charges for Guest Meal trays and created a new process to ensure charges are captured for guest meals.
