Summary

After 30+ years in the advertising industry, I retired in March of 2023 then immediately got my TEFL certification. The any roles I held in advertising required a great deal of teaching and mentoring of both employees and clients. Once I passed my TEFL certification, I volunteered at two different organizations in CH, IL teaching newly arrived immigrants. Work consisted of developing lesson plans, assessing student progress and teaching one-on-one as well a groups of various backgrounds and levels. Although I may have limited esl teaching experience, I have decades of teaching/instructional experience via my 30+ year advertising career.
