Responsibilities included developing relationships with Van and Bus Dealers. Primary focus was managing current accounts and prospecting to increase our dealer network.
Responsible for marketing new and used vehicles on the Chevrolet franchised website, along with other search driven third party websites. Managed the sale process including valuing trade ins and coordinating finance.
I was responsible for all aspects of this new start up business. This was an independent venture with no franchise outline or corporate support. My duties included all pre opening planning, developing menu items and price structures, and hiring and overseeing training of employees. i also made relationships with suppliers and venders and was responsible for all ordering and purchasing. Our goal was to establish a franchise model for expansion and growth. We struggled with a single location and ended the venture.

I was promoted to the Commercial Truck Manager Position whereas my duties continued in Commercial Sales but also grew to include the management of the department. I was an outside salesman representing Mack Trucks. My primary territory was Elkhart and Marshall Counties in Indiana. I began as an outside parts salesman and was promoted to Truck Sales after my first year. This was a satelite store for the main office in Gary, IN. The facility closed in July of 1992.
