• I have made over 16,000 deliveries with Doordash. About a month ago. I wrote a personal email to the owner of Doordash expressing the frustrations of trying to do a good job for the customer and the driver. He put me in touch with several of their top executives to work with them to find a way to help make work smoother and easier for their drivers. I have been working with three different executives for the last several months. I don’t believe anyone has ever been asked to help Doordash with these problems.

Provided transportation services for individuals across San Diego County, with occasional trips to Orange and Los Angeles counties. Engaged with passengers to facilitate enjoyable conversations and share experiences during rides. Continued driving until the pandemic restricted travel and Lyft operations ceased.

Served as a dedicated worker since childhood, starting at age six on a family farm in Wisconsin. Relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1962, gaining early work experience through paper routes and keeping score at a local bowling alley. Contributed to the opening of Caesar's Palace in 1965 as a busboy, joining the Culinary Union at age 15. Managed to work 40 hours weekly while maintaining a straight-A record in high school. Demonstrated exceptional work ethic with a decade-long perfect attendance record, only taking necessary leave for medical reasons. Currently engaging in seven-day work weeks with DoorDash, under consideration for transition due to misalignment with personal values. Maintains a record of punctuality, consistently arriving on time.

I have owned two personal businesses during my lifetime. I have always been self-employed and to be self-employed you need to be self motivated, which I am. I have always prided myself in the quality of my work, my punctuality, and my ability to perform almost any task in an excellent way.

Through a series of extremely unfortunate circumstances involving my ignorance of politics, coupled with the 2008 recession, an extremely promising business I had created was forced to close. This is another chapter of my life that I would be willing to disclose in a private meeting, but not on this résumé.

To summarize, I am an excellent employee. I never miss a day of work and I am never late. I do everything to the best of my ability and I believe that whatever company hires me will be extremely happy with my work.
