• SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions): a high school club that works towards ensuring a safe community, helping to prevent the overuse of drugs and alcohol within the community; with SADD I attended several conferences and had many public speaking opportunities, one in which was the CADCA conference in Kissimmee, FL. There I learned a lot about networking with my peers and gained a lot of confidence to speak on topics that I was passionate about.
• 4-H: I was apart of this organization for 4 years. My main focus in this club was to spread awareness about the opioid epidemic, an epidemic that hits home for me. I did 4 years of researching this topic to gain the most knowledge possible. I competed in several competitions including but not limited to the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair and District Project Achievement. My last year participating at DPA I received 1st place and was able to go from there spreading awareness about the opioid epidemic.
