• Accept, perform data entry, and distribute samples to be tested in the Clinical Pathology laboratory
• Communicate special testing requests with technologists
• Retrieve specimens previously submitted for additional testing and/or transfer to other lab units
• Verify sufficient information is provided based on the test requested, contacting the client(s) when necessary; rectify any submission errors
• Enter laboratory results daily
• Act as a liaison to students, veterinarians, researchers, and referral laboratories to provide critical information regarding testing, sample collection, submission, and laboratory policies and procedures
• Assist clinical pathologists and lab managers in daily and/or routine quality control procedures.
• Assist in faculties at Population Medicine Department of Science in preparing course materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Compile and maintain complex client data in electronic records database.

Collaborate with LVTs, resident, and DVM on calls to enhance customer service and exceed departmental goals.

Routinely maintain cash fund and generate financial report.

Analyze and resolve insurance issues and billing complications

Manage inventory, access product availability based on prescription pool, and coordinate shipment and returns of prescription medications.

Investigate and reconcile discrepancies, and process reports for billing and inventory accuracy.

document chief complains, past medical history, physical examination findings at ER physicians' bedside.

plan and arrange regular meetings and conferences to meet program goals.

recruit, manage, and perform evaluation for 20+ consite scribes.

Provide project support by preparing experiment, collecting, and documenting data from 500+ samples of model plant Arabidopsis thaliana.

assist in publication by providing data collection necessary to meet program's timeline
