I am the son of a Ukrainian immigrant who came here when she was 12. Raised by a single dad, my mother struggled to keep up, but she did, getting a BBA in the process. And now there's me. A second-generation college student. My mother and father have both taught me a lot throughout my life, and you will see that in my work.

  • During this last summer before college, I sold cars to save money for college. This was a very unexpected source of wisdom and experience. I learned the art of the sale, and throughout the summer, I was honing my craft. I sold my fair share of cars, but that wasn't the only gain.
  • I had always hovered around the Sales Manager and the General Manager of the dealership. This proved to be very beneficial. I asked, and they answered. They taught me how they did their jobs (buying inventory, managing the bottom line, how to find errors within the sales system, etc.).

  • Every summer since I was 14, my father (Owner) and I have gone up to Wisconsin to work. Through this, he has taught me how to run a business. Not just the decal installation, my father taught me to think past that. He showed me how to manage employee relations, how to manage inventory and payroll, how the order expenses should be paid, etc.
  • I have learned a lot from him. And it will show in my work.

Knox County CEO Program

  • Private, Invite-Only program for Business oriented High Schoolers
  • During the program we visited over 60 different local businesses in the Knox County are. Their owners/operations managers would give us in-depth tours of the business, and how it worked. We would ask questions and make relationships with the executives
  • We also ran 2 different businesses as a class, one was for advertising space, the other was a golf outing(Ask me about it).
