As a master’s level social worker I am driven to improve outcomes for individuals, families and communities through quality services and programs. I require meaningful work that utilizes my extensive child welfare program experience and skills.
Supervises permanent full-time trainers overseeing their development and implementation of curriculum and training projects for the Child Welfare Training contract.
Supervises training coordinators.
Recruits, develops, and supervises contract and occasional employee trainers for the Child Welfare Training contract.
Trains professionals, including child welfare specialists, who work with children, youth, and families to support state and national initiatives.
Designs and develops curriculum, workshops, online training, and other learning opportunities to support state and national initiatives. This includes both the solo development of curriculum as well as leading teams in the development of curriculum.
Uses data to evaluate training effectiveness.
Plans, leads, and coordinate projects, meetings, and events.
Maintains knowledge and skills about legislation, best practices, and child, youth, and family services trends.
Utilizes data to guide work-related decisions.
Write reports, professional correspondence, and other project-related documents.
Builds and fosters both internal and external relationships to promote team work and excellent project and goal completion.
Works closely with the OU Center for Public Management and Child Welfare training administrators to meet the training needs of Oklahoma's Child Welfare Specialists.
