Driver Services - Customer Specialist II

  • In charge of ordering, stocking, and issuing of driver supplies and parts (to include king pin locks, load straps, padlocks, DEF, logbooks).
  • Assist IT with inventory, update to Windows 11, and return of assets. Order equipment and hardware as needed.
  • Order forms and printed material for my department, the Training Department, and Operations.
  • Type correspondence, memos, and emails as needed.
  • Pick up and distribute mail and packages for drivers and associates.
  • Handle interoffice mail and FedEx shipments.
  • Take phone calls and resolve issue or transfer to other staff or management.
  • Handle emergencies as needed (drivers, associates, building).
  • Update supply and yard management spreadsheets daily
  • Assist drivers in locating empty and assigned trailers.
  • Communicate with drivers regarding their tractor and trailer location.
  • Assist drivers with storing and shipping personal belongings.

  • Operate inbound/outbound personal vehicle (POV) and pedestrian gates, manage yard flow, and direct parking.
  • Book regular/flex Ubers, car rentals, and hotels for associates and drivers, and assist with changes to existing travel reservations.
