From the 3 jobs that I have worked I have accumulated a lot of experience and skills that allow me to adapt to a multitude of situations and environments. It has taught how to interact with any and everyone in a welcoming and productive way. I've learned how enjoyable being apart of a team is, it makes the job much more enjoyable. The aspect of these jobs that I've enjoyed the most is my opportunity to interact with the kids that I meet. Working at a dance studio you never knew what to expect regarding what mood the kids might be in one day, but it kept me on my toes and taught me to keep trying different strategies that could turn the class around for that child. While sitting for my neighbors I took care of 3 girls who were vastly different which was very fun because I got to see how their different personalities would shine and how they worked together. With the bakery I felt like I was able to play into the kids excitement that would come in, especially if their visit was due to a holiday or birthday. Overall, I am very grateful for the experiences I have gotten from these 3 jobs, they all have help a great work environment and offered me the grace to make mistakes and learn. That ability is what has allowed me to acquire the skills that I have with me today.

As an instructors assistant at KMC studios I helped the lead choreographers keep our different dance classes hosting ages 4-18, focused and having fun during our weekly classes. I would demonstrate any dance moves that the instructor was able to. I interacted with parents and answered any questions that they may have as well as hosting private lessons for students who may have needed one-on-one time to succeed in the class. I helped to make sure that everyone was trying their best and having fun in class to keep the energy of the group overall high. In the spring I would keep the 4-6 groups organized at competitions and bring them back stage to check ins, as well as at our annual recitals. I would help to maintenance and cleanliness of the studio and would attend staff bonding, to ensure a trusting and close relationship with my coworkers.
