  • I took on an abundance of responsibilities in a high volume bar nightlife, while serving alcohol responsibly. Duties such as maintaining a clean work environment, opening and closing the bar, upselling menu items to maximize revenue, training new employees, along with creating a new employee handout and quiz. Giving excellent service while being responsible for up to 30 tables at once, including multiple large groups of 15-80 guests per party.

  • I learned to work together as a team, trying to achieve all one goal, perfect service. I jumped from serving in extreme temperatures poolside, to formal events, and casual restaurant dining. As the time progressed I was promoted to an Event Captain and carried out a more formal role of being a direct onsite contact point with any private parties being held, and delegating tasks to banquet servers while creating the perfect atmosphere that the client invished.
