• Accurately posts payments by line item into IDX patient management software to accounts, meeting Billing Office deadlines.
• Processes electronic EOBs and manages contractual adjustments from all third-party payers.
• Balances daily posting batches and reconciles daily against bank deposit, ERA, and EFT payments.
• Maintains a comprehensive understanding of payment posting processes.
• Updates IDX with new EOP/ERA transaction message codes to ensure accurate posting or payments and denials.
• Post denials and secondary EOBs daily as per Billing Office Guidelines.
• Reviews insurance EOBs and posts payments in the IDX accurately.
• Applies collection payments accurately to relevant accounts.
