I offer many successful years of experience working and relating to the public. I am skilled in adapting and relating to people who bring different communication styles, and I know the importance of approaching every encounter with a positive attitude and how the willingness to listen can be the beginning of trusting relationships with positive outcomes. Advocacy and empathy are actions that have come naturally in my personal life and career. Being dependable, honest and accountable are standards I set for myself, and am accustomed to working unsupervised, meeting deadlines and accomplishing goals. I am a forever learner and an extremely hard worker. During the time gaps between employment, I stayed busy managing the operations of our small family farm, and rental properties from home. For 13 years, I enjoyed time outside of the traditional workforce, working temporary jobs during down times. In March of 2020, my husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer. Navigating through the healthcare system during the initial peak of Covid to fight for his Cancer treatment, is where I found my voice and passion for advocacy. After he passed on December 5, 2020, with family support, I gained strength to begin a new life. I am eager to continue giving back and advocating for those in need and learning.
