37 honorable years in the Army on Active Duty, The Army National Guard, The U.S. Army Reserves. Three successful deployments in 1990, 2003, and 2008, and one Mobilization in 2018. Awarded with several Commendation and Achievement awards due to accurate and timely documentation of 1,000s of pieces of equipment, vehicles, and ammunition during Desert Shield/ Desert Storm 1990-1991. Appointed as an Equal Opportunity Liaison from 1996-2007. This position helped Soldiers who felt they were discriminated against. Compiled a weekly report of hazardous weather conditions for a General Officer while stationed in Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2003-2004. Received ratings for academic and leadership excellence during the Primary Leadership Development Course, and the Non-Commissioned Officer leadership course during 1996 & 2007. These courses focused on leadership, giving commands, and learning our jobs. Supervised 5 officers and 2 enlisted soldiers as an Office Manager while stationed at Balad Air Base in Iraq from 2008-2009. Responsibilities included personnel accountability, scheduling vehicle maintenance, and briefing our Colonel about the status of equipment. In Germany in 2018 we compiled reports and graphs depicting the tracking and usage of vehicle convoys that were used in exercises with U.S. and European Soldiers.
