I am a medical equipment sales associate. I work with patients that have prescriptions for things like nebulizer’s, walkers, wheelchairs, diabetic shoes, compression stockings, etc… I unload and assemble pallets of these wheelchairs, and I organize and restock shelves at least twice a week. Sometimes, I climb a ladder and change the letters on the sign out in front of the store.
I work in the Learn and Play department of The YMCA in Pelham. I am tasked with taking care of/ watching the children that are dropped off by parents when they come to the gym to work out. During this time, I have to accommodate to each child and change diapers, entertain them, and play with them, while also making sure that everyone is safe and that there is nothing happening that shouldn’t be.
I was an afterschool counselor at Greystone Elementary School where I was tasked with making lesson plans at the beginning of each week for groups of kids ages ranging from pre-k to 5th grade. I would have to participate in physical activities with the children, and initiate fire drills and safety precautions.
I was a Junior Summer Camp Counselor at the Alabaster YMCA. Since I was a junior counselor, I was mainly in charge of making sure my group was where they were supposed to be according to the schedule. I helped the Senior counselors make lesson plans for the week and kept track of what had and had not been done for the day.
I am CPR Certified
