Prepares and maintains budgets for assigned program areas that are cost effective and meet monetary goals for department and City.
Properly orientate new employees provide thorough job instructions, training and in-service training to current employees.
Identifies nationwide and local trends in areas of early childhood, youth, teens, and before/after care. Develops and implements similar programs and opportunities to residents and participants.
Performs variety of administrative tasks in accurate and timely manner and helps with implementation of rules and regulations. For example, schedule and maintain staff time sheets, properly document accidents/incidents, CDS forms, collection of fees, prepare/submit accurate reports in timely manner, and maintain records for registered participants.
Requisitions equipment, materials and supplies. Maintains inventory.
Meets general public and follows prescribed departmental rules in providing for their needs.
Assists with City-sponsored special events.
Performs related work as required.
