Oversee daily operations with the office staff at Ace Home Improvements. Including myself, there are 4 employees within our office which is very small considering ACE is a large construction company. I was originally hired as the Office Manager to help our COO take some smaller tasks while he could focus on bigger aspects of the company. This process never really happened simply because he did not want to give up the job duties. I currently schedule appointments for our plumbers, our estimators and our owner. We use Quickbooks for both accounts receivables and payables, invoicing customers, etc. but our payroll is managed by our accountants.
I have developed a couple of policies for the company, the first one being an attendance policy and the latest was a dress code policy which has enhanced compliance and operational efficiency. I am also in charge of monthly OSHA training for our workers. We have been discussing a SOP, but have not started working on it thus far. I print and work all invoicing, including collection processes if needed.
I would have loved the opportunity to take over some responsibilities, but I feel at this point it will not happen.

Entered all charges, payments, created claims and ensured accurate financial processing within the practice.
Generated all fiscal year purchase orders for vendors and collaborated with the payables department for timely payments.
Coordinated with the float pool manager to provide staffing when necessary.
This position ended when I was selected by upper management and my peers to become one of the Practice Administrators that was created for the Medical Group.
