Results-driven scheduler recognized for expertise in analyzing data to resolve scheduling conflicts. Committed to fostering collaboration and improving workflow processes to achieve organizational goals.
Rainbows is an organization for children with disabilities. I started as a para in the classroom working with the teacher and the therapists. We worked on physical skills, motor skills, speech and language skills. I also was a substitute bus driver. I then advanced to Transportation Supervisor for 10 years. I oversaw the transportation department. I assisted HR in the hiring process for drivers and bus aides. I organized all of the bus routes, communicated with parents, did monthly trainings with staff. The last 15 years I have worked as a scheduler for our center based services. When we had center based services, I scheduled staff and children for our after school services, all day services and weekend services. I met with parents to complete our application for services, contacted TCM's for support plans, contacted MCO's or SCDDO for funding the child receives. I also did all applications for our summer camp program. I was in contact with the parents, MCO's and TCM's to insure everything was in place for the child to attend. When our center based services closed, I assisted the other scheduler with in home based services. After applications are complete and all funding is in place, I go to the homes and do walk through home visits. I am in charge of keeping all funding, support plans and doctor orders. I also am the SCDDO representative for Quality Assurance Reviews. I schedule the home visits and coordinate with the parent, care giver and my volunteer to complete the review process. I submit the completed forms to the SCCDO once the visit is complete.
I do data entry, develop spreadsheets, track all funding and hours used by our clients.
