My sole responsibility as a store manager was to provide exceptional customer service including handling concerns, complaints, and inquiries. I was in charge of recruiting new employees. I would train and supervise them for their specific job description. I reviewed inventory stock and dealt with incoming signage and visuals. I attended weekly conference calls and touch bases with my district manager. I opened and closed the store and turned off equipment. I was solely responsible for maximizing profitability and meeting sales targets. I created the weekly schedules and performed deposit checks as well.

• I Strengthened work flow productivity by hiring, managing and developing top talent while establishing store tactics and strategies to achieve operational performance and sales goals. Every day I exceeded team goals and resolved issues by sharing and implementing customer service initiatives. I trained and mentored associates to teach daily tasks and procedures. For sales, seasonal changes and promotions I updated and maintained store signage and displays. Weekly responsibilities included Appraising inventory levels on frequent basis, ordering new merchandise to keep quantities well-stocked. I held weekly management meetings to check in with my operations and visuals merchandizing manager to catch up on changes and opportunity.

My responsibilities as a client advisor were to welcome and serve all clients coming in to shop and giving them the best in store experience. I maintained strong relationships with clients through my own individual approach. I was trained in cross selling to meet my individual sales goals and KPI’s. I was knowledgeable on products and brand competition. I made sure the visuals were up to date as well with season changes and promotions.

I created visuals to help maximize sales and promote seasonal changes. I executed multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating, and prioritizing tasks. Everyday I oversaw the creation of in-store signage and promotional materials to complement visual merchandising efforts. Myself and my team assessed inventory levels and restocked items as needed to maintain attractive displays and help customers locate desired items. I ensured all signage was up-to-date and accurately reflected current promotions and trained retail staff on visual merchandising standards and practices to ensure store-wide consistency.

I worked for Best Buy as their mobile and smart home department lead. I was in charge of making sure my employees were product knowledgeable and could perform floor demos. I always made sure that I knew promotions for the week or holidays would check in with each employee coming in and crossing off to do lists to maintain a shoppable area. I helped and assisted signing customers up for post paid plans and walking them through set up’s with their new devices. I was cross trained in all departments on how to sell and assist with sales. I often checked inventory levels and would fill displays with product.

I was the women’s/Men’s/Kid’s department lead. I was in charge of making sure everyone was zoned properly within each department to service and assist customers. I would stock product and check signage for sales and promotions. I made sure our fitting rooms were cleaned often and product put back. I assisted with POS sales and checkout and maximized credit card goals. I was product knowledgeable and would help train new hires.

As a part time manager I recruited and trained new employees to meet job requirements. I also completed thorough opening, closing, and shift change functions to maintain operational standards each day. I would set perfume goals each day and would reward for goals met! I helped with visual merchandising and floor plan sets. I also assisted with putting out new product and cleaning up fitting rooms. I dropped off bank deposits weekly and would join conference calls and weekly sales goal meetings.

My job at Petsmart was a cashier and a sales associate. I was primarily an early morning associate so I would run the cashier in the morning and help stock the front shelves so it was full and easy to shop. I cleaned up the pet waste areas and filled bags for quick clean up. I kept the store clean and checkout full of last minute shopping items. I greeted and welcomed every in coming customer and directed them where they needed to go. I made checkout fast and friendly. I handled returns and exchanges in a mannerly fashion and applying to company policy.
