Utilized different methods to troubleshoot software and hardware issues.
Utilized knowledge of the COBOL programming language to extract data from mainframe system and utilized onsite SQL database to store that data to be used/accessed in a new dot net application.
Updated PEP/Perceptive Dot Net application to generate PDF reports & extract selected cvs files used to look up data in Perceptive software.
Added MVC and Dot Net Core functionality to PEP application using C# and javascript languages as well as SQL server interface utilizing Entity Framework SQL data access, thereby rendering significantly faster data access, transfer and display.
Installed Microsoft's Visual Studio's CRUD instances for the City of Birmingham's Police SNITCH application to track, quantify, log, and report on daily patrol officer's activities and render daily, weekly and monthly reports on individuals, Task forces, and precincts ans well as city wide reports.
Guided newer System Analyst in accessing onsite Mainframe & SQL databases as well as guiding them on various protocol in their interactions with Mainframe Administrators, Database Administrator, and Network Administrators in their quest to perform their duties.

Guided System Analysts in troubleshooting problems with users issues with local Microsoft Access applications and granting new users access and setting up ODBC connections to SQL database via said applications.
Held meetings with Analysts & Senior Analysts on next steps and progress on new Mainframe RAMS system replacement application, including converting COBOL extracted data into SQL database, utilizing SQL stored procedures and tables with primary and foreign key implementation.
