  • Started a Celebrate Recovery Chapter where I developed leadership teams comprised soley of graduates of our program. The team was designed to cover four primary areas of responsibility: ministry leader, shepherding care, training, and promotion. Each leader developed an apprentice so as to keep positions filled.
  • Enhanced team collaboration through regular communication, goal setting, and performance evaluations.
  • Was then commissioned by Pacific Crossroads to write and develop a new 12 step Christian recovery program more closely aligned with scripture. The program is now known as Rise Up in Christ.
  • Grew the program from 8-12 weekly attendees to 60-75 in less than 3 years and maintained these levels until the pandemic made it necessary to meet virtually on Zoom.
  • Built relationships with Rehabilitation centers throughout California so as to quickly escalate care in acute cases.
  • Led intervention teams in 8 life and death situations which entailed organizing and training the sufferer's family and friends so as to bring about the best possible outcomes. All 8 were successful, though one relapsed and died after leaving the program.
  • Trained Pacific Crossroads pastors and staff in identifying community members who are at risk of addiction and compulsions becoming acute.
