University of Massachusetts/Boston and the Office of the Mayor of Boston Fall 2018 Mayor’s Symposium- Housing a Changing City This course consisted of small groups that focused on housing issues within Boston. Along with my team, our group developed a project that was delivered to the Mayor’s Office that offered ideas and ways of addressing the housing issues of Boston, especially those with low-income. In particular, we provided ideas on data collection methods, tested with limited field work, and worked to form alliances among community-based organizations in an effort to affect policy change.
