Injured on the job, back injury (four herniated disks). Per doctor's orders, I am not allowed to return to work until further notice. 09/21/24.
UPDATE:
• Brain tumor removed on 12/26/23.
• Breast tumor removed on April 4, 2024.
• Per PT and spine specialists: NO lifting more than 30 lbs, NO standing for long periods of time, NO walking for long distances.
• Per neurology: A change in lifestyle (i.e., stress-free work environment (ex.change in career; something other than healthcare) , service dog for seizures (July 7,2024)
- Per neurology (10/18/24): I'm cleared to return to work, however I cannot work near bodies of water/swim, work on elevated platforms, drive/operate heavy machinery. I am to follow behavioral health's advice/recommendations to reduce stress in the workplace to avoid stressed induced seizures. I am to have service dog with me at work. I am not to drive for 3 months if another seizure occurs per State law.
