Provided care/assistance for eligible surviving family members of deceased US Army, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard soldiers. This assistance included wellness checks, benefit information and reminders, planning and execution of survivor events, and various other actions. My role also included daily computer entries in the complex Army Survivor module, resource network building, and issue/complaint resolution. As one of 2 such coordinators in Louisiana, my case load included over 400 survivors.

Provided TRICARE (Military Health Insurance) briefings and customer service throughout Louisiana and Mississippi. The briefings and education was primarily provided to Reserve component military members and their families as they gained coverage and eligibility due to deployments and entry on active duty. I provided briefings to audiences ranging from 20-1700 attendees. While in office (work-from -home) setting, I responded to phone calls with questions, concerns, and complaints about their TRICARE benefit and coverage. I assisted in resolution of claims issues, medical provider relations, and access to prompt medical care within my area of responsibility. In 2013, I was one of 9 recipients (from among 45,000 employees) of the Humana Summit Award.

Assisted Army National Guard recruiting force in gaining access to high school juniors and seniors by marketing educational programs to school counselors and principals. This primarily involved scheduling myself and the recruiter(s) to present a 3-hour program called "Career Direction" to the junior and/or senior classes. I performed this same role (with different job title)in Mississippi during first year of this listed term of employment.

Served in and retired from the United State Army after just over 21 years of service. This included several job titles, specialties, and locations. My primary career path and experience were in the Personnel and Recruiting fields. While serving as a Personnel Staff NCO, I managed all personnel and administrative actions within a Military Intelligence Battalion. I supervised up to 10 personnel during that period. My final 9 years of military career were in the recruiting field in which I consistently exceeded quotas.
