During my time at DMC Dermatology, I gained experience in both histotechnology and surgical assistance. As a histotech, I processed tissue specimens and prepared slides for pathological examination, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks. In the role of a surgical assistant, I provided support during dermatological procedures, maintained sterile environments, and assisted the medical team as needed. This dual experience has allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of dermatological processes and laboratory techniques. Assisted the healthcare provider in providing patient care by retrieving medical records, test results, medical supplies, and other items. Led a team of medical staff to successfully complete a complex medical procedure.

• Room patients, obtain medical history, efficiently input information into EMA EMR system
• Assist physicians with various biopsies, injections, visit notes and prescriptions
• Prior authorizations, calling patients with results, return phone calls, keep the cancer logs up to date
• Other duties include assisting with ISO patients, surgeries and injections per Physician's orders
• Additional lead duties include training, inventory, ordering, managing staff absenteeism, and promoting a positive work environment.

• Prepare daily Botox and tumescent anesthesia
• Prepare several laser machines for various different treatments provided
• Obtain vitals and explain doctor's instructions at the end of each medical and cosmetic appointment.
