Tyrique Halliburton

My name is Tyrique Halliburton, I'm a 2nd year college student graduating soon from LaGuardia Community College. My major is International Studies since I love learning new languages. I'm half black and half Asian, my dad is from the US and my mom is from Malaysia. I like playing sports such as basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and ultimate Frisbee. My favorite hobbies are learning new languages and improving on them each day when I can, such as my Chinese since my mom speaks to me in Chinese most of the time. I also developed a new hobby of learning trading with Stocks and Options. When I was 15 or 16 years old at the end of my freshman year of high school, my family decided to make a huge decision that changed the course of my life which was moving to Malaysia. We decided to move there because my dad had just retired and we wanted to be closer to our cousins and family . We lived over in Malaysia for about 3 years. Over those years, I learned more about my Asian Culture and tasted different varieties of Asian cuisines. I also made new friends with different people from different ethnic background.
