- SPECIAL SKILL PROFICIENCY : I have a good understanding of the input requirements and variables to plan each well trajectory e.g. Surface and target locations, Kick-off Point, Build-up rates, Tangent Sections, Turn rates, and Dogleg Severity. I have a very good knowledge of the COMPASS software in planning 2D and 3D well trajectories with a thorough knowledge of all well planning deliverables including plots, reports, relevance and impact of proper anti- collision design and analysis in directional drilling. I have practical experiences in Monitoring progress of on-going wells and make real-time projections ahead to anticipate collision risks further down the wellpath, actual versus proposed plots, and catch-up plans while drilling. I have a good understanding of BHA design principles (side force, tangency point, stabilizer placements, tool sequence and placement) and design assemblies for rotary, steerable, and rotary steerable drilling. I Collate all Directional driller End of Well Reports using Planit software at the end of each job and properly managed the drilling data archive for all wells under my custody. I.e. surveys, end of well reports and tool tracking sheets, etc. I have an understanding of Bit selection criteria and grading.
