Cover Letter

To Whom it may concern:

My name is Vadra Doser.
I am a very intelligent and organized person.  Quick and eager to learn new things.
I am also kind and patient and have a long history of helping people in difficult circumstances.

Most of my life I have owned and operated my own businesses mostly in the retail and the tourist industry. During that time I have managed everything, and also assisted a partner enduring a complete audit by the IRS covering 5 years of business history.  (They were suing him for 16 million and it took 3 years of my life but I won.)

I do not have any direct experience with the judiciary system but I believe I have the qualities to be highly successful in the role for which I am applying. I would definitely need training and help to learn the ropes and procedures and the programs. But I promise I would be able to learn swiftly.

I have many years of experience with computers and a variety of software on both Macintosh and PC systems.  Not only basic software but also with 2 proprietary software systems.

The most difficult program I had to learn was with CLEMS software for the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. (BPOE) I served as Secretary for the Telluride Elks Lodge #692 for 4 years.  Previous to that I was Leading Knight for 2 years and Exalted Ruler for 2 years. I also served with the Colorado Elks State Association (CESA) primarily as vice chair of the Clem and Evelyn Audin fund for many years which serves children in need of support in a myriad of ways.

I was also active with our Elks veterans programs primarily with Honor Flight, veterans back to work programs, veterans homelessness and Stand Down. I have helped write grants for our veterans in need and with the support of of my lodge and the San Miguel VA representative Jim Botenhagen I spearheaded an emergency fund first through the Telluride lodge, at only 250$ but then in San Miguel county for 2000-3000$ for any veteran in need in an emergency situation. I am very proud of having made a lasting difference in my community that will live beyond me.  (I Currently live in Durango West and am a recent transfer member to the Durango Lodge #507)

During my time as Exalted Ruler I had to coordinate all community event planning (including special use and liquor permits) many months in advance so I understand the necessity of looking ahead to court dates, schedules for filing forms, and planning ahead appropriately months in advance.  Many of the events and programs I helped with included veterans from a;; our various wars, but especially the young men from Afghanistan serving multiple tours and with severe PTSD.  I am mentioning this because I have experience with dealing with people who are under great stress and need a patient and understanding person to help them with things that seem overwhelming. I have also worked hard at listening, asking questions, and modulating my voice tone to a lower register which helps put people at ease. Especially on the telephone.

I have done many things in my life not included in my resume and would be grateful to discuss qualifications I may have from my life experiences and other reasons I believe I would be a good fit for your team.

Thank you for considering my application.

Sincerely, Vadra.
