Artist Statement

My practice investigates relationships between people, place, and the natural world through material exploration, storytelling, and collaborative art-making. Drawing from ecology, folk traditions, and community-based learning, I create opportunities for observation, connection, and shared inquiry. Whether in the studio, classroom, or community setting, I view art as a catalyst for curiosity, stewardship, and meaningful engagement with the world around us.
