With 9 years of experience as a waitress, I transitioned into the medical field for a long-term career. Now, as a certified phlebotomist, I bring almost a decade of customer service expertise from the restaurant industry. Remaining calm and composed under pressure is second nature to me. My communication skills allow me to effectively engage with patients and clients, both as a skilled conversationalist and an attentive listener. I excel at multitasking while prioritizing patient care. • During school we were required 50 blood draws but I was so efficient that I accurately performed 100 phlebotomy draws on classmates and volunteers who put their trust in me; ensuring safety and comfort during the process.
• I properly followed personal protective equipment, safety, protocols, and standard precautions.
• While in school I had multiple instructors pull me aside and tell me how well I was performing draws and that they could see me going very far with phlebotomy.
