- Assisted with the annual Handy Mart and Michael Martin Golf Tournaments that raised monies to support the Handy Mart and Michael Martin Endowed Scholarship Funds at UMO.
- Contacted corporate representatives, government officials and/or community leaders to increase awareness of organizational causes and raise funds. I established a program called Business Associates at UMO. Business Associates was a group of businesses that gave $1,000 or more to UMO annually. I would plan and implement a Business Breakfast on campus monthly (during the academic year) for these corporate supporters. I worked collaboratively with professors from our School of Business to bring pertinent topics to our business community.
- I have experience working with boards as well. I have worked with the UMO Foundation Board and the UMO Alumni Board.
- In addition to serving as Director of Development, I also worked as Director of Young Alumni. I have experience in assisting in organizing and executing the activities of Alumni weekend, hosting community receptions, as well as crafting and mailing annual fund solicitations.
- I have worked with and welcome the opportunity to partner with board members to make solicitation calls on major donors.
