Thoroughly understand groundwork with horses (ground manners, lunging, etc.)- saddle breaking, bridle breaking, and have put multiple first rides on horses.

Can teach, to both horse and rider, basic under saddle work i.e rein control, moving off seat and leg, collecting, and upward and downward transitions.

Have experience working with problem horses; from being barn sour to bucking when asked to move forward, spooky and flighty horses, hard to catch, aggressive horses, and, correction of basic groundwork.

Have trail ridden in Yosemite and led group trail rides in the mountains of Mariposa along with countless solo trail rides on neighboring properties

Given first-time lessons as well as more experienced lessons- ability to teach people in the saddle goes as far as being a schooling master.

A notable amount of experience showing horses, both under saddle and in hand competitively on the Arabian Horse Circuit, as well as countless schooling shows in the Central Valley.

Primarily shown and ridden english, though contain knowledge in western riding and have taken reining lessons as well as worked cows and done team penning.

Can take full-time care of multiple horses- from balancing a diet to watering to daily care such as grooming, exercise, and enrichment. Basic understanding of horse anatomy and behavior. Know how to take care of basic wounds on horses- can not give stitches but can handle cuts below that. Recognize lameness, check for colic, and prevent colic.
