Prior to being promoted to Maintenance Supervisor I was a Track Inspector at MTA NYCT, from June 2015 to December 2018, I previously worked in T6 nights, and currently T3 south days as A Full Rate, I was responsible for calling on flags and/or Lights as well as the safety of any co-workers assigned to me on a regular basis as an Employee in charge (EIC). Some of my main responsibilities are to inspect and Identify defects along the Right of way and if needed and if possible make Temporary repairs to maintain a safe track condition, also part of my job is to have clear communication with management such as Level 2 and Superintendent to address areas where work may be needed or where if possible monitored, also filling out Report Inspection forms on a regular basis. From May 2014 until June 2015, I worked as a Track worker In T2 and T6 and have worked various tasks from Track cleaning to installation of new plates and rail renewal.

  • Inspected track components and structures to identify defects, ensuring safety standards are met.
  • Performed routine maintenance checks on tracks, such as replacing worn or damaged parts.
