DECA 10 hrs/week Active Member, Vice President (12th—Present) 40 weeks/year - 

• Collaborated closely with the school’s DECA advisors to plan and organize successful meetings and competitions for the largest club at Lake Travis with 200+ members
• Recruited and registered competition team to almost double the members from the previous year through extensive marketing campaigns pushed out beyond the school
• Assisted with practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays where I helped members practice their competition events by providing educated advice from personal experience
• Partnered with organizations within our community for sponsorships helping gain upwards of $2,500
• Worked on LT DECA social media on Instagram and Twitter to drive membership and promote events
• Selected from a pool of nearly 50 applicants for the Vice President position through a presentation that expressed my vision for the program as well as how my skills could be applied to benefit DECA

Muslim Student Association 10 hrs/week Co-Founder/President (11th—Present) 18 weeks/year 

• Primary founder of Lake Travis's first Muslim-based club that aimed to build a supporting community of like-minded individuals to learn more about Islam and work on local community volunteer opportunities
• Helped gain 50+ members, a majority of the minority of Muslims from our school, through social media campaigns, promotions from local mosques, and well-designed posters that were placed across the school
• Allowed Lake Travis for the first year ever to successfully compete at the Muslim Interscholastic Competition (MIST)
• Worked alongside Round Rock MSA to create accurate finances for travel and lodging, as well as crafted scheduling for MSA members to apply and compete at Dallas.
• Networked with multiple schools in the Austin area to help create more MSAs and also elevate pre-existing MSAs.
• As one of the few schools in the Austin area to compete at MIST, I am actively helping new schools get the opportunity to compete while also working with these schools to create fundraisers.

Asian Cultural Appreciation Club 3hrs/week Active Member(10th-11th), Vice President (12th—Present) 32 week/year 

• Helped create a community that celebrates and presents Asian Culture through creative meetings that welcomed all
• Promoted unity, heritage, and culture among Asian students
• Provided thank you cards to teachers in red envelopes as a way to Celebrate Chinese New Year

ICLT/Teen PACT 4hr/week

• Aided the mosque with their Sunday School by assisting students
• Volunteered teacher at Sunday School youth group
• Helped with AV setup at events during Eid and the holy month of Ramadan
• Led volunteer efforts at multiple fundraisers and awareness campaigns by setting up bake sales to get donations for Islamic-related issues
• Assisted elderly and physically disabled attendees with special seating and other arrangements

Bee Cave Arts Foundation

• Assisted kids with various arts & crafts projects in a fun and immersive manner
• Helped set up Artistic events

Speech and Debate

• Assisted students with finding competition rooms and worked at the snack booth for those who competed at the Cavalier Classic debate tournament hosted by Lake Travis

Refugee Services of Texas Aug 2020 - Present (10 Weekends/Year)

• Managed donation drives by increasing awareness with various donors
• Helped with making care packages to help refugees
