Responsibilities: Supervised sub contractors ( SHIMMICK) ( RCI Engineering ), CAC Asbestos Abatement crew.

Observation of grading, soil backfill, slope stabilization, soil compaction, soil erosion control, soil remediation, excavation of foundation, excavation of column, footings, and utility lines.

Inspected property looking for Septic tanks, Water wells and hazardous materials. Supervised the foreman and crew's demolition of residential properties, and removal of concrete, rebar, masonry, and contaminated soil per ECC and Los Angeles Public Works site assessment.

Communicated and submitted daily reports to project managers and supervisors.

• Collaborated with cross-functional teams such as engineering, manufacturing and logistics to resolve quality issues quickly and efficiently.
• Participated in technical trainings and workshops to improve skills set and boost overall knowledge.
• Outlined remediation plans to standardize results to meet compliance regulations.

• Learned strict PPE and safety requirements expected of a Field Representative to adhere to while working on public roads.
• Inspected soil subgrade.
• Professionally communicating with the asphalt material manufacturer, verifying the asphalt maximum density.
• Supervised the Onyx Pavement crew; a total of 1,768.38 tons of asphalt was placed using a CAT asphalt road paver and compacted with an Ingersoll Rand and a CAT CB2.7 used as the method of compaction.
• Collected asphalt samples via shovel for laboratory testing.
• Observed asphalt temperature via infrared temp gun, making sure it reaches a safe point for nuclear gauge testing.
• Performed 18 nuclear gauge tests, verifying that the paved asphalt is above the minimum compaction percentage.

• Learned the strict PPE and safety requirements expected of a Field Technician to adhere to in the field.
• Verifying Ready Mix Concrete in accordance with Ready Mix batch tickets.
• Obtaining a Ready Mix Concrete sample in accordance with ASTM C172 via a revolving truck mixer.
• Making concrete cylinders (6 x 12) in accordance with ASTM C31.
• Observation of concrete placement.
• Professionally communicating with concrete ready-mix drivers.
