William Orr

After 25 years in building business my company VoylesOrrBuilders is finishing it's last residential project.

I have served on the board of The Bexar Land Trust now called Green spaces Alliance. Our mission was creating conservation easements and establishing community gardens throughout the San Antonio area.

In my community of Alamo Heights, I sit on the Board of Adjustments for the city.

I am on the board of the San Antonio Botanical Gardens where I chair the board management committee and sit on the executive committee.

PARK HISTORY

My wife Jana Orsinger and I have been members of "Friends of Big Bend" and the Conservancy for over 20 years. I have been visiting the park for 30 years. Until COVID we made one to two trips per year. We have have driven and hiked the backcountry, camped and floated on the river and hiked many of the trails.
