Accomplishments

Techs in Stores initiative

-this was a initiative to bring the techs in stores to help customers learn the yukon tv systems. my duty in this was to schedule the techs in the stores as well as contact the store manager to access the most effective time to put a tech in the store

High Split Node Project

-this was a project to upgrade the HFC network with the 204/258 MHz upstream. This took tremendous amounts of cooperation through multiple departments to implement this smoothly. My responsibility was to change out the Lindsay Broadband amplifiers and to troubleshoot any issue customers had after the upgrade was complete. This then turned into me leading a team of contractors to coordinate and fix the Multiple Dwelling Units around Anchorage Alaska

Cable TV install sullivan Arena

-this was a project ordered by the former Mayor of Anchorage. We brought cable TV to the homeless shelters during the COVID pandemic. I along with 4 other technicians worked this project, for all of our efforts we received the GCI VIP award.

Helping grow the technicians

-One of the greatest accomplishments in my years as a lead technician is developing technicians. Helping them grow and find the place they want to go has been the greatest part about this job to me.
