- Perform accurate gross description and dissection of low-complexity surgical specimens according to established guidelines.
- Handle and dispose of specimens and chemical waste appropriately based on the laboratory's procedural manual.
- Sustain the gross room workflow by creating consistent flow in and out of the gross room.
- Print cassettes for specimen containers and photograph cassette racks prior to loading on the tissue processor.
