New Employee Trainer

I started in the drying department on day shift as a temp through elwood on 08/2020 as a hand grader and was trained at the feeder, ninety, stacker and raiman.
I moved to graveyard drying and was trained as front driver, back driver, hog driver, hashi two, and hashi one operator before accepting a bid on hashi two.
We swapped to rotating twelve hours shifts and I accepted a bid as utility and learned how to dryer tend and trained a bit as back up lead for Matt S.
06/2023 I became the new employee trainer and completed courses in Job instruction, job relations, and hardwood identification. I also learned how to fully operate the presses, pull green chain, operate the panel saw, laminator, and patch lines. I have also learned a bit about cut to size, UV department, re-work, and the hard wood department.
As the new employee trainer I have created JI breakdowns for multiple positions in the mill, updated ECI paperwork, JHA paperwork, and OWS paperwork. I am responsible for giving new employees mill tours, ECI training, JHA paperwork, Reach cards, Scar observations, and training using the JI method in various positions throughout the mill.

I started out as general labor and gradually moved up and worked as a machine operator then was promoted as supervisor and managed a crew approx 15 people
In the winter time I worked graveyard maintenance replacing chains, bearings, patching belts and sterilizing equipment much similar to what a millwright would do.
