  • The most important part of my job is greeting every patron that comes in with a smile and helping them in any way I can using world class customer service.
  • Responsible for taking any contractor payments as well as MCCS event and rental payments.
  • Organizing, creating, and using Excel spreadsheets to ensure all payments are made and are accurate. Also using other forms of Microsoft Office on a regular basis such as Powerpoint and Word.
  • Even being Microsoft Office certified to the highest level in college I still learn new things about Excel daily. Making me a very efficient user of the program.
  • Ensuring I am as knowledgeable as possible with our Rec-Trac system. Using it to take payments, issue refunds, register patrons for classes, set up auto debit for patrons, look up payment and family history, as well as many other things.
  • Responsible for running auto debit every month in an efficient and timely manner with the help of my fellow co-workers.
  • Responsible for completing or assisting with check requests monthly for our contractors.
  • Communicating clearly and effectively with supervisors and co-workers on daily tasks.
  • Helping the Recreation manager and coder plan and execute major and minor events.
  • Working these events effectively, supervising and assisting volunteers ensuring our patrons enjoy their time with us.
  • Ensuring the safety of all patrons by keeping the facility clean, planning fun and safe activities, as well as being CPR and first aid certified.
  • Responsible for keeping patron counts as well as DARs up to date and accurate.
  • Ensuring I have a healthy and friendly relationship with all co-workers, contractors, and patrons. Also ensuring the use of world class customer service as a priority.
  • Drive any vehicle required for an event. This includes the van for transporting volunteers, or the box truck for transporting needed items for an event in a safe and efficient manner.
  • This facility depends on team work and ensuring you are a healthy and well rounded team player is vital. Working together through any problem that arises the MCCS Community Center will continue to thrive and get better because of how well we fit and work together as a team.

  • Keeping up with constantly updating safety regulations was always the most essential responsibility here.
  • Received a high level clearance to access all areas of the airport, ramp, and fueling stations.
