To officials who read this, my name is Kyra Bassett. I would argue I am a desirable employee because I am able to adapt to unpredictable circumstances. Getting the job is one thing, but life is far from predictable. My social skills and experience as a student, employee, lover, and a daughter has ensured me that being a hard worker is only the first step.
Now, why should you hire me? In and outside of my education I have taken leadership roles. A transition to a new position is a thrilling challenge and keeps me on my feet. My ultimate goal is to provide customers with a positive experience while facilitating operations as permitted by my employer. The sales profession has been an eye-opening experience to teamwork and adaptability. An instance that comes to mind is during my employment at Wards Berry Farm (located in Sharon, Massachusetts) when I assisted multiple parties of parents trying to find their missing kids in the corn fields.
