Abigayle Holst

I know I would be a reliable Resident Assistant who can remain patient and calm in difficult situations. Mature, responsible, and someone others can look up to. I have exceptional communication and time management skills and can prioritize my position as an RA as it is a great responsibility. I will present myself as an approachable individual with an outgoing personality to make sure the Hamline community sees me as someone they can come to for any type of assistance. My problem-solving, and organizational skills will make is so I stay on top of all my tasks that come with this position. I am passionate about helping others succeed with developing successful mentoring relationships and friendships with students. I want to foster a sense of community among residents to support individuals in times of need. Attentive care focusing on individuals' unique needs and comforts is something that I believe is important for RAs and I will make sure to focus on to create a safe and comfortable environment for residents on this campus.

I am the president of the Hamline University Anime and Manga Club on campus. We have general meetings where we provide a space for students to relax, do homework, and enjoy common interests with each other surrounding Anime. We hold events that surround our topic of  anime and manga where we have study, movie nights and go on trips off campus to anime conventions.
