Referrals Coordinator: Responsible for processing authorizations for MPMG/Optum Care, our practice consisted of multiple IPA's. I was in charge 375 members enrolled under Mercy Physicians Medical Group IPA. All referrals were processed online, our practice used ECW eclinicalworks. Patients assigned MPMG we used Nammnet/Optum Care. Prepared clinic daily (paper charts) before EMR was implemented, answered calls, covered other receptionist desks in a practice of seven Orthopedic doctors . Also worked in medical records department filed/pulled charts answered calls etc.
