Dental Assistant experience - I have interned and shadowed at some offices before required from my program I had taken from high school. I had 20+ hours of internship hours and with restricted guidelines set by the office, I could have only done minimal things such as setting up and breaking down operatory, wash and package instruments, also identifying and storing items for the office. Other than the rules by the office, back in class I was able to have more hands on practice such Radio-graphic imaging, creating molds and retainers of teeth, learning about instruments with the purpose of what they do, and polish teeth on my classmates.
