Summary
My vision for the youth ministry is to develop relationships; first and foremost, with the Lord, and second with one another. I want to give the youth something that I did not have growing up. The foundational truth that Jesus Christ is Lord, loves them, cares for them, and paid the ultimate price for their sin on the cross. Young people that don't have this instilled in them from the beginning are at a severe disadvantage in knowing Christ. I hope to create a fun and educational environment, while relating to the youth and walking with them side by side through both the triumphs in life as well as the struggles. I have established a desperation in my heart for the Lord through walking along side him and want to witness this to the youth. I truly believe in my heart that the youth are the future of the church and need to be well equipped and informed of the spiritual warfare that is all around us.
