Alexandria Midori Moreno

Henderson,Nevada

Summary

In my experience as a sales associate, I have learned that effective communication is key. As a salesperson, I have learned the importance of actively listening to clients' needs and concerns. I understand the importance of being knowledgeable about the product or service I am selling. Overall, through being a successful sales associate, I have acquired strong communication skills, product knowledge, relationship-building abilities, and resilience. At the University of Texas at El Paso, I actively participated in a student organization, where I learned the importance of building strong connections by coordinating group workouts and organizing fundraisers, gaining valuable experience in event planning and community engagement. Transferring to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas has provided even more opportunities for growth, including an outreach consulting role that taught me how to effectively interact with the public and pitch community projects in the Henderson and Las Vegas areas. Additionally, through my internship in event planning, I gained behind-the-scenes experience in event pricing, setup logistics, and the detailed preparations made days in advance to ensure smooth execution. This opportunity deepened my understanding of successful event management from start to finish.
