Ali Abdulhadi

I am a 22-year-old blind individual with an ambition to make a difference. Graduating with a degree in sociology, I intend to pursue a career in journalism, public speaking, research, as well as human resources or therapy. Therefore, I am looking to gather experience in a variety of areas before I begin my journey to success. I am willing to learn as much as you are willing to teach me, and I am willing to work overtime.

• Four times Principle’s Honors Award at Los Angeles Pierce College.
• A Principle’s Honors Award at California State University of Northridge.
• During high school won an academic award for being in the top 15 students on the entire senior class in terms of academic achievement and GPA.

• Four-year community project on homeless veterans, where they were interviewed to voice their feelings about the system and how it was treating them, they were given clothes and blankets, as well as a cooperation with the VA hospital to provide them more food and clothing.
• Was an assistance administrator at a mental health focus group for disabled and blind people of different ages. For approximately 6 months.
• Teaches English to children from different Arabic countries online, 2/3 hours a week.
