  • Do an ACT ( Active Clotting Time ) to check if the timing is correct to pull out the catherters from patients groin once I pull I apply pressure for 10 – 20 minutes to make sure the patient isn’t bleeding then I apply some antibiotic a gauze and a tagaderm
  • I assist the patient if needing to use a bed pan or a urinal
  • Contact the patient the next day to see how they did over the night
  • Once patients is ready to leave I wheel them out to their driver’s car I clean/sanitize and fix up all the stretchers for the next day
  • Restock all supplies blankets, syringes, needles etc.
